How KDramaGuess works
A daily guessing game for K-drama fans. Three puzzles, three different answers, and a fresh set every day.
The daily cycle
Every day at midnight UTC three new puzzles go live, one per mode. Everyone in the world gets the same three dramas on the same day, and the three modes never share an answer. The countdown on the home page shows how long is left.
Each mode has its own guess limit: 6 for K-Frame, 8 for K-Match and 7 for K-Story. Guesses are picked from a list of titles, so spelling never costs you a turn.
The three modes
K-Frame
A still from the drama, one frame at a time. Every wrong guess unlocks another.
- You start with one still from the drama.
- Every wrong guess or skip unlocks another still, up to six.
- Six guesses total. Flip back through unlocked stills with the arrows.
K-Match
Guess any drama and compare year, network, episodes, genre, trope and cast against today’s answer.
- Guess any K-drama and its attributes are compared with the answer.
- Green is exact, amber is close, red is wrong.
- Arrows on Year and Episodes point toward the answer.
- Eight guesses total.
K-Story
Start with the plot. Each wrong guess peels back another layer until the answer is almost showing.
- You start with the plot summary.
- Each wrong guess or skip peels back another layer: release details, themes & tags, a clue, then who stars in it.
- Seven guesses total.
Streaks and stats
Each mode keeps its own streak: win on consecutive days to grow it, and a loss or give-up resets it. Your stats live in this browser only. There are no accounts, so clearing site data or switching devices starts fresh.
The archive
Missed a day? The archive holds every puzzle back to 10 Sep 2026, in all three modes. Archive games are tracked separately and never affect your daily streak.
